Rebecca Boblak has performed in North and South America, from the Bay Area to Peru, most recently with the classical Trio de Jardin, and holds a Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy from Holy Names University. Together with Diana Rowan she founded the Garden Gate Creativity Center in Berkeley which gave space to hundreds of Bay Area musicians and artists to perform and teach. A pianist and teacher of the Suzuki Method she has also developed her own methodology, “Creativity at the Piano,” in which her students learn to practice masterfully as well as improvise – a full musical experience that grooms exceptional practitioners while maintaining the sense of wonderment that fuels creative inspiration.
